Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Access Behavior Analysis LLC (“ABA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Access Behavior Analysis website and mobile application (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account & profile information — name, email address, phone number, password, and any professional details (such as certification numbers) you provide when you register or complete your profile.
- Purchase & registration information — courses, CEUs, and workshops you buy or register for, and the details you submit in registration forms.
- Payment information — payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited transaction details (such as amount, status, and the last four digits) to fulfil your order.
- Content you submit — reviews, ratings, exam responses, support messages, and other content you choose to share.
- Usage & device information — log data, IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with the Services, collected automatically to operate and improve the Services.
- Cookies & similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- Process purchases, workshop registrations, and issue certificates/receipts;
- Send transactional messages (confirmations, receipts, and service updates);
- Respond to your requests and provide customer support;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Services:
- Service providers — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, cloud hosting, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ABA, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
5. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You may also update much of your information directly in your account profile.
6. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Delete your account from within the app or website under Profile settings, or email us at [email protected] with the subject “Account Deletion.” We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting purposes).
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for professionals and adults and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
10. Third-Party Links
The Services may link to third-party sites or services (such as Stripe checkout or external course links). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
12. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact us at [email protected].
